That ending. That chapter ending is just

I don't have much more to say, it's just mind blowing. The story goes on so differently, how I thought it would go. Like: I came for romance and slice of life, I stayed for the drama and adventure. Can't wait to see what will happen.

The part that took me most of the time of this drawing is that, how should I draw the armor. I tried to see references, like from the season 3 opening Fluttershy's and Rainbow's armor to

's awesome armored ponies, and off course the Royal Guards' armor. As we seen in the show there is no mare guards, so it's hard to guess how should they look like. I know that neck part of the helmet has the fuction to protect the neck, because if the neck's brock or the spine get's hurt, it's he end. But I always thought mares have weaker necks that stallions, so plus weight on them doesn't do good. Also, the armor Cloud has is a costume armor, but is it costume in the way how the helmet looks like?
So in the end, after running around is circles and thinking, I ended up with this desing, without the neck part. Well, it's costume so I think I can go with this.

To much think for a simple helmet, right?^^'''''''

I love "The Life and Times of a Winning Pony" it's becoming my headcanon for Cloudkicker and that chapter ending made to do a doubletake. Love your artwork!
